Are We Living In A Fair Society?
What is a fair society? Are we living in a just and equal society? These are the concern of a good citizens in a society. Society is defined as a group of individuals which characterized by common interests and may have distinctive culture and institutions. We all make up a society, in general we are the society. What society is reflects to what we are. The problem is we are naturally unequal, different heights, different personality traits and varying likes and dislikes. But how can we build a fair society? A fair society acknowledges that fairness is universal. Justice must be served equally and there is gender equality. My definition of a fair society is equality. But my definition of a fair society is miles away from our present society. Philippine is a democratic country, in which the rule of law protects the rights of citizens and limit the power of government where all citizens are equal under the law.
